Types and differences of steel nails

Cement steel nail: very similar with round nail on the appearance, the head is slightly thicker. But cement steel nails are made of high quality steel and have the advantages of hardness and bending resistance. They can be nailed directly into concrete and brick walls. Common specifications are 7~35mm.

Wood screw: also known as wood tooth screw. Nails are more easily bonded to wood than other nails, and are used in metal and other materials bonded to wood.

Twist nail: the nail body is like twist shape, the head is round and flat, the cross or a head, and the bottom is the sharp bottom. The nailing force is very strong. It is suitable for some places that need strong nailing force, such as drawers, wooden ceiling derricks and so on. There are many kinds of specifications from 50 to 85mm.

Pin nail: A nail with sharp ends and a smooth surface in the middle. It is easier to combine and fix wood than other nails. It is especially suitable for the dowel of wood splicing. The common specifications are 25~120mm.

Self-tapping screw: the nail body has deep screw teeth, high hardness, low price, and can better combine two metal parts than other nails. Used for the connection and fixation of metal components, such as aluminum alloy doors and Windows in the production.

Shot nail: similar in shape to a cement nail, but it is shot out of a gun. Relatively speaking, nail fastening is better and economical than manual construction. At the same time more convenient than other nails. Nail shooting is mostly used in the construction of wooden engineering, such as fine wood and wooden surface engineering.

Staple: used for binding paper documents, generally made of iron or copper, coated with nickel or nickel zinc alloy to prevent rust.
