Annealing wire manufacturing process

Annealing wire manufacturing is the production process of annealing wire, and now introduce the purpose and process of wire annealing:
Annealing wire is the drawing of low carbon steel wire into the annealing tank or annealing furnace, high temperature heating to the appropriate temperature, and then slowly cooling, after taking out to achieve the purpose of annealing. Annealing is to restore the plasticity of the wire, improve the tensile strength of the wire, hardness, elastic limit, etc., the wire after annealing is called annealed wire. In the production process, the annealing process is very important to ensure the quality of the finished wire, so that the wire has a certain strength and a suitable degree of softness and hardness.
To be precise, it is necessary to determine a reasonable annealing temperature and holding time. The annealing temperature should be between 800 and 850℃, and the length of the furnace tube should be lengthened appropriately to keep the heat holding time. For this reason, a self-made annealing furnace is connected in series to the original annealing furnace and controlled by a voltage regulator. When the finished wire is in the annealing process, because the cold wire continues to enter, the furnace temperature in the annealing furnace is distributed around the wire, which saves the heating time.

Annealing wire

Because it is a single wire annealing, the furnace temperature does not fluctuate much after the wire enters the furnace, so the furnace temperature after feeding can also be regarded as the material temperature. That is to say, the wire basically moves at 750~800 ° C after entering the annealing furnace, and the moving time is the insulation time. By setting the temperature of the temperature measuring point of the annealing furnace, the annealing temperature of the nickel-aluminum composite wire is controlled. It is more appropriate to set the temperature to 810℃, and the holding time is 8 hours. After a period of air cooling, and then coated with lubricant, the site can be smoothly rolled.
After this treatment, the production efficiency of cold wire drawing is greatly improved, the softness and hardness are moderate, and there is no bending and twisting of the wire, so the wire is smooth when spraying. The purpose of annealing is to change the metal by slowly heating it to a certain temperature, holding it for a sufficient time, and then cooling it at a suitable rate. The purpose is to reduce the hardness, improve the machinability, eliminate the residual stress, stabilize the size, reduce the deformation and crack tendency. Refine grain, adjust structure, eliminate structure defects. In simple terms, annealing is to reduce the internal molecular structure of the wire to adapt to drawing again.
